Immerse yourself in Kyoto's charm with the 3-star Ohanabo Kyoto hotel, located fairly close to the Eastern Higashi-Hongan-ji Monastery and offering tour/ticket assistance to help you get the most out of your trip. This Kyoto ryokan is in the Shijo district, about a 25-minute stroll from such natural sights as the Kamo River.
The hotel is just 100 metres from the Ichihime Shrine and near the detached Shosei-en Garden. The Ohanabo Kyoto is conveniently situated in proximity to Nishiki Market. Guests might as well visit Shoseien, which is approximately a 5-minute stroll away. Also, the head Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine lies 2.8 km away, and Gojo underground station is 550 m from the accommodation. There is Shiokoji Takakura bus stop only a 10-minute walk away.

The purpose of my visit was to immerse myself in the authentic ryokan experience while exploring Kyoto. I was thoroughly impressed by every aspect of my stay, but the elegant furnishings in my room stood out the most. The attention to detail created a serene atmosphere, enhancing my comfort. The en-suite bathroom facilities, complete with a luxurious bathtub and modern shower, were a delightful surprise. The staff's warmth and hospitality truly enriched my experience.
